Have: Daylily Seeds for SASE

Franklin, WI(Zone 5a)

I have many daylily seeds as a result of a few dedicated weeks of hand pollinating attempts! It seems like every last one of them took and I will never have enough growing space to start them all. The only catch is I did not keep record of the crosses. This was my 1st real attempt at hybridizing and my tracking system either faded, blew away or fell off. I will have the names of the pod parent on most of them, but many are just a pot luck of sorts. Number of seeds in each packet will vary from two to five on named pod parents, and ten seeds for the pot luck seeds.

Still, if anyone is interested they're yours for an SASE with 49cents postage (Bubble envelope or packing material suggested), your own seed envelope, and patience! I don't have anything packaged up yet....I'm waiting for the weather to get cold so I can make myself stay in the house instead of puttering in the yard with fall cleanup/chores and planting!

Anyone interested should email me at smarfran@aol.com. using the subject line "Daylily Seeds at Daves Garden". Please, do not contact me through Daves Garden mail. Sometimes I don't get to check into DG for days at a time, but do check my private email account at least every couple days.

Thanks!

Still have enough seeds for at least another ten people. Seeds from unknown "mix" are mainly purples and pinks. Named pod parents include Bette Davis Eyes, Rosey Wren, Jim's Pick, Gentle Shepherd, Liberator, Melon Balls, Eloise Pitkin, Malaysian Monarch, Big Smile, Elizabeth Salter and a few others.

Please remember to email me privately at smarfran@aol.com in addition to posting here if you so desire!

Here's a pic of one of my Jim's Pick that went a little funky this year. It's one of my favorites though for extended bloom and color change throughout the day.
