Hello from Michigan!

Delton, MI

Hi Everyone!

I have been lurking around for a bit to get the 'lay of the land' and I've decided to come out to say hello! Everyone seems very friendly here and I'm excited to join in.

I am a fairly new gardener, but I am learning more than I could have ever imagined in a really short time!

See you around Dave's Garden!

Welcome, April! Glad to see you're diving in! It takes a lot of time at first, but I'm finding that now it's quick to just check in, reply to a few threads, browse a bit and move on if time is an issue (I've been spending time on DG for a bout 3 weeks). The MOST time consuming thing for me has been establishing my journal. But, you don't even have to make use of the journal opportunities to get a TON out of this site. It's also nice to feel like maybe you're contributing something to the DG community :) WELCOME!!! -- Hugs

Thanks for the welcome everyone! It is really great to see people from so many places all coming together to talk about their gardening experiences.

Delton is south of Grand Rapids and east of Kalamazoo. It is a rural town but we aren't farmers, we just enjoy wide open spaces!

I haven't even looked into the journal yet...I'll have to do that. I have noticed a plant or two that I have that do not have a picture on the database so I will be sure to take pictures of everything next year and hopefully have something to contribute there.
