********CLOSED FOR NOW - THANKS!! *********************
I have some purple passionflower vine seeds and I'd like to get some of the Mt. Fuji tie dye blue morning glory seeds. Right now, I have 9 seeds, but I still have 3 fruits that aren't ripe yet. I don't know for certain how many seeds I'll have in total (anywhere from 9 to 20, I would guess). I'd like to get a decent number of the mt. fuji seeds (maybe 10-20? does anyone have than many to spare?). If not, then whatever can be spared.
Let me know if anyone has any interest in getting Purple Passion flower vine seeds in exchange for some Mt. Fuji. From what I read, passion vine seeds are best planted sooner than later, but this is the first year I've gotten any seeds, so I don't have any first hand experience with them.
respond here if anyone is interested.
Thanks,
Onalee

Have Purple Passion vine seeds to trade for MT.Fuji MG seeds
This must be about the 10th time I come back to see if there is a 'lucky winner'.
Onalee, I do not have the MG you want, but I am willing to trade as many seeds from my list as you want for your 9 purple Passionflower seeds (even knowing they are not likely to come true).
Please check my list at http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/439190/
I also have some Hot Chile Pepper seeds from the high Andes.
Please let me know if you are willing to trade with me.
Thanks,
Ursula
Hi Ursula,
YOU WIN ! I guess folks are just not wanting to turn loose of those MT. Fuji's - but you have some awesome things on your trade list!
Let me say that I like things that have seeds that are easy to harvest and clean and preferrably store well. Also, I live in Florida, so things from the cooler mountains there would probably not like it here. So, with that said, I was thinking of one or the other of these - which would you suggest or do you have something else that you think would fit the bill better?
Rhodophiala rhodolirion, bulb plant with either white or pink flowers with red dots or stripes (30 seeds
Cassia multiglandulosa (syn. Senna multiglandulosa), lovely shrub with clusters of golden-yellow flowers (30 seeds) P
Let me know!
Thanks,
Onalee

I'll share some of my Mt. Fuji MG seeds with you for some White Cypress Vine seeds...
~ Carole
Carole - that would be GREAT! Thanks so much!! I'll email you!
Thanks,
Onalee
Ursula - I am so glad to hear that! I had never tried to germinate them so I'm so happy that they came up for you!!
I'd say they'd prefer slightly dry to over wet based on where the 'mother' plant grows.
Good luck with the rest of them - I hope you get more up!!
Onalee
