What a perfect little blossum. Thanks for posting it...it might be a good one for me to look for...I don't have any hardy water lilies because my pond is in the shade, but your comments suggest this one will take some shade. Nice for an evening sitting area, I guess.

When I researched this plant it, I found it could handle partial shade. I love water lilies, but am unable to have a pond or a container type pond. This plant is very small as are the blooms. If you look at the other photo, you can see the size of the bloom. Thanks for your comments.

Yes, I noticed the small size in the other photo. It is very desirable to have pictures like that which indicate the actual size of blooms, leaves, etc.

Sorry it took so long to reply ... I have been out of commission for a while. I am sorry that I do not grow this plant. I took a photo of it at one of my local garden shops. You are so lucky to have a pond where you are able to enjoy your water lilies.
