This is a slightly strange query as it relates to a duck pond rather than an 'ornamental' one

We inherited a concrete duck pond when we moved here, but unfortunately it leaks. We bought a thin liner for it, but unfortunately that has split and doesn't do the trick.
We are now about to splash out, lol, on a more expensive liner, but I'm a little concerned about those beaks and whether this will be a waste of money

Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Put some rubber roofing material in it. Will last about 20 years. Wash it off first before using it.

Brilliant, thanks TA!

There is a cementous product called "Water Stop" that should do the fix. It is used in irrigation ditches to patch leaks all the time

Thanks ladyanne I'll see if I can find it here

(Zone 6b)

If I may add to ladyanne's suggestion about "Water Stop".
It is actually hydraulic cement and is used to seal large concrete drain and sewer pipes, along with leaks in basement walls etc.
It is sold under many different commercial names, but since it is just hydraulic cement it may make it easier for you to locate in France.
