Modesto, CA(Zone 8b)

Hi friends, I tried getting ID on the ID forum without many takers, thought you-all might know. Thanks for your help!

Gosh it's going to be really hard to tell without a bloom. I have about 15 different angel wings and it is definitely one of the bushier types (not cane), but I couldn't say which. Maybe someone will come along and tell us both. - Judy

It looks very much like the My Special Angel rooted starter I got from JRush!

Oh! Hi Sequee! We must love the same stuff....keep bumping into you! I will look that one up, thanks. The flowers were pale pink, me-thinks. K

Hmmm, the outer edges of my leaves are different than 'My Special Angel' and the flowers on mine were very pale. This plant is a cane-type, the mother plant was @ 18" tall. The longest leaves are only about as long as my index finger. I'm going to keep it pinched so it gets full. Been hitting it with VF-11, hope to get more bloom soon! Wanna trade begonia pieces later Sequee? K

You bet! I m so in love with this little fella! He's in a little basket with my prayer plant (also thanks to JRush!), sitting just beside my bed so I can see him first thing in the morning and last think at night!

cool, I'll make a trade-tracker entry for our begonias, will contact you when I get a cane long enough to root! Hopefully I'll have it ID'd by then! K

Mine's only just a starter hisself, so he'll be a while coming!

:~D perfect!

It looks very similar to the Mini begonia 'Tom Ment'...mini refering to the leaf type not really the size of the plant, because they can get a nice size.

Edited to add this info:
You can try iding it at the American Begonia virtual greenhouse link

I just looked that one up, these leaves are really small, the longest are as long as my index finger. Really cool little plant, can't wait for it to fill in (Sequee can't wait either!) The leaves look exactly like the photo posted by Coyotespirit ...
