Gurney's Seeds

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

For anyone who's interested, they are having an end of season grab bag sale - 25 bags of seeds for $9.95! I just got mine, they're mostly veggies. At 40 cents a pack, it's a pretty goo deal! Don't know when it ends, but probably VERY sood - better hurry!

I went to their site http://gurneys.com/ , but I didn't see anything about a "Grab Bag Sale"......

http://gurneys.com/search.asp?dt=11&ss=grab+bag

They are still offering it.

When I tried the link above I kept getting "An error has occurred". I tried 'grab bag' in their search engine and got the same result. (but so did 'lily')

Maybe later...

I'm not finding it now either - sorry! I'm on their (e-) mailing list, so I sent them a note and asked them what's up. Will post as soon as I hear back...

thats strange! I just clicked on the link & it took me right to it!

edited to say,
I could not get the address to show without it being a link, so I took off the http:
just add http: to the beginning of the above address.
Hope that helps

I also tried the link, got to Gurney's, did a search for grab bag, and got 1 result - the catch is the grab bag my search found was $39.

Funny that everyone is getting different results! :)

Ah, ha! I tried it again, but this time I used an IE browser instead of if Firefox and it went through.

Very odd - the regular price for their grab bag is $39+ - that's why the grab bag special is/was so great! Totally weird we're all getting different results. Hope we can get this straighted out because it really was a good deal!

Terribly embarrassed! aSle ended 9/30. I PROMISE - next time I see a great sale I'll tell you when order NOT when I receive. I just wanted to be sure the seeds were worth it, but duh - I guess @ 40 cents a pack for current year seeds, they're worth it for trade if nothing else! I think 40 cents for 100 black sunflower seeds is pretty good, no?

I would like to offer each of you (dstartz, maryev, and pudgymudpies) a couple of seed packs for your inconvenience - please send me an e-mail and I'll give you some choices!

How sweet of you, Sequee, but totally unnecessary. I appreciate the offer though!

Oh Sequee, don't worry about me either! I was just intrigued by the mystery (and curious about what seeds they would have) And don't be embarassed, it was a great way of sharing with your online friends at DG! Mary Ev
