Can you comment on my beef with Windows XP?

One would think that the new and glorious Windows XP when putting down a landscape crop overlay in their image editor would do so at the correct 4:3 aspect ratio.

Ain't so. At least as far as I can determine.

I'd like to hear any comments on this specific or on MS generally.
