Another Texan!

Dallas, TX(Zone 8a)

I just recently signed up on DG and love it, love it, love it! I live in Dallas w/ my husband, 2 dogs and 3 cats. Our house is an 80 year old Craftsman style home in the Winnteka Heights Historic District. I spent my first fall/spring (2002/2003) in demolition mode ripping out dead trees and nandina that had been planted around the ENTIRE house and just took over. Fall 2003/Spring 2004 was my first time to start planting and I think I have made great strides (will update my Webshots soon!). I am going for an old fashioned cottage garden feel, for obvious reasons I think. Anyway, glad to be here. So far everyone has been awesome! Jamie
