Pondless waterfall

I am interested in installing a pondless waterfall. If anyone has installed one would like to have your feedback.

I think it's a neat idea. My husband wants to do something like that. It would be more on the lines of a weeping wall. There are a gazzilion ways that you can design it and it. It would need a reservoir for your pump. I would line the reservoir with liner and continue with the liner behind the entire waterfall. I would construct the whole thing with rocks on top of the liner and would mortar it. The spaces between the rocks would have to be either sealed or mortared to keep the water flowing on top of the rocks. If there is even the tiniest place for the water to escape, the entire flow ends up underneath the rocks. The plumbing would be easy to hide on the backside.
