I missed the first bloom a couple weeks back,for it had closed up before I saw it,but tonite I caught her beauty.

No she blooms in the daytime,just didn't see her until nighttime,sure if there is any.

I got one of these last fall, but unfortunately the heat did it in over the summer. It was quite nice until then though, lots of blooms. They also have an odd smell for those who like to know such:-)

I think they smell like moth balls. Nasty smell for a cute little flower. When I had mine, I had it growing over an arch that I had to go though many times a day and it almost made me sick to breath in the air at the arch. It bloomed heavy, so there was lots of smell. LOL!

I really can't decribe the fragrance either,but sort of takes my breathe away a little!!
Yes the almost fry in the heat,the leaves turn rather crispy like!
Reminds me of the way the leaves were on my jasmine sumac during the winter time.
