Hi, I'm brand new here and am trying to learn more about houseplants. Do any of you know if you can make those macrame plant holders .... I buy them at walmart for around $4 but I was wondering if I bought the material if you could make them yourself. Does anyone make their own plant holders? Is there a website or a book I could look for to do this? Thanks for any help you can provide. I just subscribed yesterday and am blown away by the wealth of information found on this site.... totally love it!!!!! :-)

Oh my gosh.....yes I made these back in the 70's...beads and all. They were alot of fun to make...and I think I still have the books somewhere. May have to dig them out and try it again. I still have one of my finished projects around somewhere...if I can find it I'll post a picture.

Try typing in macrame plant holder instructions in google and see what pulls up.
