musa basjoo growth rate?

Portland, OR(Zone 8b)

I recently purchased a very small musa basjoo plant. . I have it inside with the proper soil mix and in a south-facing window. When I bought it in mid September, it was only 6 inches tall and since then it's put out 3 new leaves. My question is how fast does this plant grow? How large should I expect it to be by next summer? Any suggestions on how to baby this plant?

Musa Basjoo is a shorter variety. Mine was a foot tall in January and is about 4 ft tall right now while the acuminatas are way bigger and grown under the same conditions. I think the most important factor in getting them to grow fast is a good sized pot, lots of fertilize, water and warmth plus as much light as you can give them.
I meant orinoco banana, my brain was just not working. Acuminata is a cavendish banana.
Edited because I can't spell either.

Accuminatas? I did a search on that and didn't find any info. A lot of the info I found on the musa basjoo says it maxs out at 18ft tall, which is why I'm curious about its growth rate.

Here is a link. When I mentioned 4ft, I meant the stem. This site says the pseudostem gets to be 7ft, that's short for a banana.

Don't know where my brain was this morning, I meant to say Orinoco banana instead of acuminata.
Edited because I can't spell today!

When this variety of banana is listed as reaching 18 ft, that's including the leaves? I apologize if this is a dumb question as this is my first banana plant (LOL). The more I learn, the more I realize I don't know :)
