Damaged File

Bradford, PA(Zone 5a)

I ran disc cleanup last night and it said one of my files was "damaged". We had installed Service Pack 2 on Sunday but I have no idea if that had anything to do with it. This file could have been damaged before that. I contacted Microsoft and, as usual, they sent me to Dell. I sent an Email to Dell's Tech Support. Microsoft did tell me it is a system operating file. I haven't noticed any problem. Any ideas what is going on.? I'm sure Dell will help me with it. They have helped me several times before.Thanks for any help.
