HAVE: small banana plant (zebrinas) - looking for bamboo

I have a small banana plant (zebrinas) which I'm not particularly fond of. I would like to swap it for some bamboo before the winter sets in as I'll probably kill it. It is about 1' tall. If not bamboo, then a lump of Melianthus major or tetrapanax or variegated arundo donax.
