Blacks spots everywhere, weren't there when set out in the spring.

I believe these markings are normal, perhaps made by extra light? Or caused by age? They also appear on some of the leaflets on my ZZ . I actually thought they looked nice, they make a neat pattern along the stems.

It looks as if the plant is receiving too much water....succulents have the same markings when overwatered......does the area feel soft?? Debra~

Debra,no they feel the same as always, hardly every water this plant as is.
Ruk,didn't notice any on the leaves as yet, doesn't seem to hurt anything as of yet.
Thanks guys

I took a good look at my ZZ, same markings and it spent all summer indoors. It doesn't get a whole lot of water either.
