Specialty Hibiscus

Jones Creek, TX(Zone 9a)

Does anyone have this Hibiscus, it is called "Gators Pride". Or do you have any of the other specialty Hibiscus..... I am also looking for Smokey Mountain, Chocolate High, Georgia's Pearl Hibiscus and a few others....Let me know and maybe we can strike up a trade.

Dee, I bought some hibiscus liners from a lady on ebay who has some of those. Her ebay name is proplants. You can buy one, five or ten depending on which auction you bid on, but can choose the plants from any of the ones that she has listed. I know that she has Smokey Mountain, look over her listings for the others and you can email her to see if she has some that aren't on her list.

I have the ones you mention Willow but they are still too small to take cuttings. Good luck in your search. I might be able to do cuttings in the Spring. Gator Pride is awesome isn't it?

awsome!

Glad that I could help! I bought 5 from her earlier this summer. So far, all of them are fine, despite the little toad who insists on burying herself in one of the pots!

I am growing hibiscus of all sorts...just love these plants! I have various species of them....what I am wondering is if anyone has done "braiding" with tropical hibiscus, and can tell me how they were successful at it? I am trying some Rose of Sharon, and want to start some tropical hibiscus as well, as braided trees. Am about to start seeds again, so need to know before I have seedlings that are too big!
