Black Bat Flower for trade

Kirbyville, TX(Zone 8b)

I finally have more Tacca that are ready for trade...the weather has cooled off(well not enough for me)but for shipping......these are in 4 inch containers, and look great! I also have large blooming Taccas available for special trades... I'm looking for tropical plants hardy to zone 8b, for the meditereanean type landscape I'll be adding in spring......bamboos, bananas, outdoor philodendrons, hardy palms(that I don't have), cycads.... plants with interesting foliage or large leaves....tempt me~ I have alot of tacca to move out of my greenhouse to make way for the seedpods that will be ready with seed to plant the next bunch....thanks! Debra~

I traded someone a few months ago which I promptly killed by overwatering.
I hope to get up the nerve some day to try again.

Brookeville, MD(Zone 7a)

Do you think you can find anything off my list? I may have a few other things lying around too that aren't listed.

Woodville, TX(Zone 8a)

Debra, I would really like to try one of the taccas since I have slowly managed to kill the ones from the coop (have one left but it is doing nothing, just hanging on with one leaf).
I have a rooted Teller Blue lacecap hydrangea, one variegated leaf hydrangea, and a common blue. I also have the Tropicanna canna (gorgeous leaves), a huge elephant ear, a ginger with plain green leaves but it is fairly hardy in our area (dies but comes back), a red striped leaf ginger, two types of banana trees, and various other plants. I think we could manage a face to face trade since Kirbyville isn't far from here. It might be better to wait till spring. If you are willing maybe we can plan a trade for spring. If not then LMK what you might be interested in. Jenny

You have mail.

Debra, do you have any of these left? I would really love to get one that is blooming, or with bud or buds, but would still like to get one or more of these. All I really have to offer though is Passiflora. Let me know.

I would'nt mind have a tacca that will bloom soon. I have quite a few brugmansia and some other tropicals including a Senecio confusus. Got some other cool stuff if you are interested I will go out tomorrow in the daylight to see what can go. Oh and a Hibiscus cooperii "Aussie Queen" and a Hibiscus schizopetalus but it is a good sized plant

Debra, the only things I have rooted at the moment are a Passiflora Coriacea, and Maybe a P. Maliformis. I did see one P. Vitifolia if last nights rain didn't destroy it. I will check after work today.
