Talking to you guy's vs. chemistry

Huntington, IN(Zone 5b)

Well I have already clicked around on the forums I wanted for now. I should be studying for my Chemistry quiz but cannot seem to get into it. For some reason I'd rather be here.
I think the weather last night was borderline freezing because most of my plants/flowers made it. Luckily I have already collected some of my Zinnias but some(mostly giants) are still 1/2 green on stem, too early to harvest. Does anyone know....are the seeds still good until a hard freeze? I would think since they are protected by petals that even if it was 32 degrees, they would still be33 degrees. Hope I didn't lose anyone.
I sure don't want to spend my time collecting them if there no good.
Thanks for replys.

Botany:

1. a) The science or study of plants. b) A book or scholarly work on this subject.
2. The plant life of a particular area.
3. The characteristic features and biology of a particular kind of plant or plant group.

Vs:

Chemistry:

1. The science of the composition, structure, properties, and reactions of matter, especially of atomic and molecular systems.
2. The composition, structure, properties, and reactions of a substance.
3. The elements of a complex entity and their dynamic interrelation.
4. Mutual attraction or sympathy; rapport.

I'm not one of your teachers; and I hate to ad-lib, but I'd say you're doing a little of both.
Or change your major to Botany!

Take your choice.

Hi Robin,
Oh yes Botany does sound much better, alot more fun. I don't hear of many Botany related jobs though. This class is required for the R.N. nursing program. It is also my last class before I start my advanced Med-Surg clinical. I have been an L.P.N. for almost twelve years but most places limit you on what you can do. So I decide to go back and get my R.N. It has not been easy .

Ahh, but think of all the medincinal herbs and restorative properties they have...they work on *body chemistry*!
