what a bummer, eh? We're supposed to hit 22 deg.!!!!!!!!! They predict a new low record to be set all over the region tonight. I put 2 layers of blankets on some plants. Think they'll make it? I really just want to get the seeds riper on some and some just started blooming a few weeks ago so I want to see them just a bit longer! :(

We're right there with you. Low 30's tomorrow night - sigh :(. Well, everything is in that's coming in, it's pretty much a jungle in my house!

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

There is a lot of blackened plants outside this morning.........oh well guess it's Karma.......if they live they will come in if not.....guess I'll have more room for next year! :-)

Oostburg, WI(Zone 5b)

I don't think it got near as low as they predicted. It was 30 deg. at 2 am and 29 at 6 am. I wasn't up in between those times so I'll have to check the radio to see what the low was.. The cannas and castors sure look sad. I picked the last raspberries by flashlight last night and covered some newly planted perennials, caladiums, impatiens, morning glory, asters, tomatoes, tomatillos and the 4 new daylilies - really want to see those 2 that have buds! lol just can't give in to old Jack Frost yet!!!!!!!

Premont, TX(Zone 9b)

Oh My ! 29 degrees its in the high 80's here.

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

It was 24 degrees here when I went to bed last night about midnight. If it got any colder than that, it doesn't matter anyway.

I have had all the brugs and such in for over a week already. Got the carrots dug today, so all the produce is in now. I still have to get out there and dig the dahlia tubers yet. I hope they are okay, even though the tops froze.
