I have this over on the brug forum as well. My candida plena flora, has had a funny year. In the sping; lots of misformed blooms. In the summer, a good couple of months of constantly putting out classical flowers. The last 2 weeks, it's been showing these huge flowers, almost like 2 buds in one. The bud looks normal, the calyx normal, the corolla (sp) looks like 2 flowers together, but only one stamen. I have 2 others on the plant right now with 8 points each. I have some pink pollen around here somewhere, maybe it'll take. Who knows...

Anybody know why they do that?
Lovely picture and flower Linda! :)
Ohhh....Linda!
Just beautiful...
Gorgeous, Linda! Thanks for posting it.
What a beauty Linda! (she sighs, green with envy...)
Linda,
Maybe it is this strange weather. Lots of lilium have been mis-shapen, too many petals, split stemens -- not to mention tons of virus. Ah me.
Lets see what happens next year. misshapen? maybe I made up a new word?

Either that or a new name for a beauty pageant contestant - lets hear it for Mis Shapen from the prairies.
