10 points

Victoria, BC(Zone 8b)

It looks like there were 2 buds in one, but has only one stamen. This plant (candida plena flora) gave lots of misformed blooms this spring, then a good couple of months with constant, lovely classical blooms, then the last 2 weeks, giving off these huge flowers.

I thought it'd give you guys something to talk about. It's sure interesting to me. I think I have some pink pollen around here someplace....

That is different. Have there been other 10 pointers?

I have 2 - 8 pointers currently on the same plant, but no other 10's for me. I remember Gretchen having a, maybe 12 pointer, but not this plant. Hopefully she'll be around and answer.

That is one cool bloom. It's funny how these plants can be. My Species had horrible looking blooms for the first flush, great blooms for the second, and now back to nasty looking blooms. I have a new seedling that I'm not keeping, but on one side of the Y all the flowers have 5 points and on the other side, they are all six points.

Neat-O Linda.

My HDW is giving me weird blooms lately too.

Very pretty bloom. Too bad it did not bloom 10 pointers all the time.

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

Awesome looking bloom!

Wowser! Linda that's too cool! I only had seven points. I think Padre had 12 or so on one of his Isabellas...

Very pretty, Linda.
