CLOSED: Marigold blooms

Colorado Springs, CO(Zone 6a)

This might seem like a strange request...
but I need marigold blooms for an art project I am making for a Dia de los Muertos exhibit. Marigolds are very symbollic in the Day of the Dead celebration but I'm not growing any and figured this might be a good way to get some. The artwork is due on Oct. 7.. I've kind of waited till the last moment.

Dead or expired blooms would be great since I'm going be drying them out and I dont want you to pick pretty ones off the plant. I need about 30-40 more....can anyone help me?

I have lots of seeds and some cuttings to trade. Thank you in advance! Susanne

I may be able to help you- let me go crawl under my tomato plants where I flip the spent blooms. XOO

Hey Vickie- I just wanted to post a picture of my finished piece...it's been complete for a while and I just keep forgetting to post! The painting was shown in a gallery downtown and it was really exciting to see all finished. Thank you so much again for helping me, Susanne
