This is my first year for Brugs. Where are the seeds located? My family members would like to try them. How hard is it to root a cutting?
Thanks

You will only get seed pods if two different brugs are crossed by you or a pollen carrier like a bee or hummer moth. It takes two or three months, sometimes longer for the pod to mature. You would definitely see the pod as it becomes fairly large. Some are egg shaped, some more elongated, and some are very long and thin. The pod will begin where the flower is attached to the stem/peduncle. Cuttings root very easy on most varieties. Just take a piece of the more woody looking material and stick it in a pot of moist soil, keep it in the shade or in the house, and keep warm, but not hot. The roots will begin forming at about 1-2 weeks. Try not to overwater it. In fact, some people put the pot and all inside a clear plastic bag and it won't have to be watered at all.

Thanks for those wonderful tips, I know they will come in handy and hopefully will also help bluegrass.

Thanks, I will try some cuttings for family and friends that are interested. I had seen the plastic bag method in a gardening book.
