I have a few house plant pictures I would like to share with you.
Banana Leaf Fig
wow. I really enjoyed looking at your photos. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Deb! Great looking plant! I have the same in my living room.. I love the way your's is all filled out throughout. Mine has more of a traditional "tree" structure to it, with three relatively bare trunks, and a canopy of leaves at the top. Any advice as to how you got yours so full and lush?
Thanks.
Nope...other than most of my plants are exposed to alot of light, as our home is full of windows. Also the Banana Leaf Fig is in a room that has a 25 foot high ceiling and the ceiling fan is constantly running in summer and winter just to keep the air circulated...this may have something to do with it. I also let the soil dry out somewhat in between waterings. Hope this helps. Deb
you can prune the branches back a bit and make them branch sideways. I care for several of these on my job and we prune them mercilessly because with the sunlight, and enough water, they grow like crazy.
