What a nice surprise...from ma vie rose...

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

I was expecting a few cutting from ma vie rose, but never expected a whole box full (10 ), the root end wrapped in peat moss and vit B1 and saran, and the entire cutting wrapped in newspaper. Young leaves still attached too. Along with many helpful tips on growing cuttings and brugs. And I should have added, nicely labeled too.
Plus she e-mailed me when to expect them and the confirmation number. I will for sure being doing trade/sase with ma vie rose!
Thank you so much ma vie rose!!!

My cuttings are all unwrapped and each in its own container of water. One GOLIFITO is already rooted and an TIARA already has 1/2-3/4 white roots. I don't know if it had been rooted previously or if it grew roots during its trip.
The other cuttings I recieved is:
Dr. Suess
Dr C x Whiskers
Daybreak
Golden Lady
Isabella
Kell's Girlie Girl
Solid Gold
Tequilla Sunrise

A really nice collection! Thank you again, ma vie!!! All except 2 of the cuttings are standing up straight. I am hoping by tomorrow the last 2 will be also. There are some buds, too. It would be great if they open. I will be watching and will post them if they do.

San Jose, CA

good luck with your new brugs, margie. we'll be looking for pictures of those blooms hopefully next year!!
you can tie the cuttings to a stick to keep them straight while they are rooting, especially the green/new growth cuttings. otherwise they slouch and curl and then go stiff in that position.
