About once a week or so I browse the classifieds via the internet of a city's newspaper that is about two hours away. Since my parents live near by, I guess I always figured I could ask them to pick up something for me if needed. But I guess I've made it a habit of looking anyway even if I'm not looking for anything specific. Well, this morning I was browsing again and saw an ad for puppies.
Labradoodle pups, papers, apricot/cream, poodle-like, very nice (# was omitted but this is exactly what it said on the ad).
"PAPERS???" what papers could they be talking about? They don't list a price or mention they are free but my guess is that they are trying to sell them. Is this crazy or what? Just last week I saw Cockapoo (Cocker Spanial & Poodle) mixed puppies listed for sale for $300. Back in the 80's, early 90's, these mixed dogs would have had their owners begging for people to take them for free. Is it me or is it that the responsible pet owners are spaying/neutering their pets and those that are not are trying to make money on their mixed pups?
been reading the pet classifieds again...
