Hi, Everyone I just can't help myself!...LOL. I just came in from outside and I've gathered lots of Tinantia Erecta seeds. This is such a great plant! Maybe it's just me but I love it. I have one currenty 3 feet wide and high. It blooms the first year from seed. Also it blooms continuously everyday. I believe the flowers only last a day. But new ones come every morning. I've been told it's hardy to zone 7. But time will tell. Either which way it bloomed 6 weeks from seed. So it's a good one to grow every year. The seeds are very easy to germinate..although I haven't seen any volunteers. The first 10 people can just get my address here at Daves. I think you have to click on extras?? Okkkk here we go...ut ohhhh $.49 SASE will get these seeds to you. Thanks!
Kim

Great Mary! :-D
okay Kim you have me sold too on this one. i will get another sase in the mail to you. wow the entusiasm over this one makes me want it. hehe
oh did you get the sase for the spoon tomatoes yet?? i sent it out the day before jeanne hit us so may be late getting there as my post office flooded due to jeanne. just checking Marie
ohhhh Yesss..I mailed it a few days ago :-)
okay just wanted to make sure it didnt go astray due to these hurricanes we have had lately.
Kim, I would love to try one. I got your name out of the address exchange. Sending you SABE.
Hi Kim, as posted last nite, I have put my SASE in the mail to you this morning, but I have a question. I am new to this and want to be sure I go about it right. I got a 4X7 cushioned envelope for the seeds and a plain 6X9 to mail it to you in. Wanting to be certain I had the correct postage, I went by our little post office and she told me I would need a 60 cent stamp for each one. Please know that I am not quibbling about the cost, just want to know what kind of envelope I need to get that would take the 49 cents that you and others have quoted. Or is the one I sent OK?
Thanks! Mary
Kim envelope in the mail, hope I am in time
Thats great you are back with a lot of pleasures. Congrats.
Hi Mary, Maybe it cost 60 cent because your are enclosing the padded envelope inside the other (adding weight). But the padded 4x7 will most like do for 49 cents. I use 4x51/2 mostly and they require $.49 up to the first ounce. Hope this helps..
Thanks Kim-Actually it also took a 60 cent stamp for return postage on the padded one I enclosed for you to send back to me, which is no big deal-I think it is a size thing-I just wanted to be sure I was not committing 'wrong envelope sin'. LOL Will be on the look-out for the 4X51/2 size. I guess my 'newness' at this is sticking out all over, isn't it? But I do want to get started off right as I'm hoping to have some seeds to trade in a few weeks. And be assured, when I post them, if I have anything you're interested in---they're yours!!
I'd love some of these, along with the Celosia I contacted you about. If you have more of these Tinantia Erecta, you could put them in the same envelope. If you're out of them, that's fine.
Thanks so much.
lilystorm just remember to add a note..so I know what I'm sending you.
The Tinantia Erecta seeds arrived today, Kim, along with all the extras you sent. Your generosity to this unknown 1st time trader is overwhelming. Thanks!!!
Mary
You are Very welcome :-D
