This week...in my garden

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Well, I should be out weeding -- tomorrow is another day, right? So instead I'm sitting here in the A/C playing with pics taken in my garden this week. Plenty of critters to keep it interesting :)

Beautiful photos of your garden and its critters! :~)

What software program are you using to create that lovely collage?

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

I love it Gretchen...Maybe I will try something like that sometime! I could sit here in the A/C on a hot day and play on my computer especially with photoshop!

That's a very nice collage, Gretchen! I wish I had some Monarch caterpillars. So far I have only seen one Monarch butterfly this fall - I think they have been adversely affected by habitat loss in Mexico and all the tropical storms we have had this year. :-(

Mirpur (A.K), Pakistan(Zone 9b)

Beautiful pictures, especially lizards.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Love all the pictures!!!!

Thank you all so much!

To answer a few questions...

Ada -- it is a cluster of blooms from the Angel Wing Begonia that the Lizard is sitting on.

Shirley1md -- I use Microsoft Digital Image Pro. I have tried a number of photo programs, and this one I like the best. Easy to use. It however, doesn't have any features for organizating your photos -- may be an add on that I didn't purchase.

Tom -- all my asclepias plants are full of the monarch cats. That is the only plant on the earth that supports them, and many people no longer grow it. That probably accounts for part of the decline in Monarch Butterflies.

Thanks again! I had fun putting it together... Gretchen

Beautiful Gretchen!

Here's a link to Milkweed seeds and assorted links for attracting and rearing monarchs for those interested.
