Dave has now implemented Member to Member Email. It goes through Dave's now and will only be seen when you click on your home page tab (top left hand corner) or if you click on the mail option (underneath the Garden Bookworm tab) where it will give you the option of looking at your current member-to-member email as well as the older archived ones from before the new system was implemented.
Email sent by clicking on a members name will no longer be sent to your chosen email address ie: hotmail, yahoo, sasktel.net, etc. To send and receive as we did before an exchange of personal email address would have to be done at contact.
p.s. MG99 I've sent you email through Dave's a couple of days ago. ;)

I noticed the new format on the e-mail a week or so ago. Like it lots better.
Same here - it's much more convenient this way. Thanks for letting everyone know.
But many people either are no't checking their mail or just do not know about it as I, at least, am getting far less replies than the old way.
I know.......Dave has tried to rectify it by sending a notification to their old mail box if the mail sent to your home page isn't opened within 48 hours (I think??). He keeps twigging the system and adding improvements to it.
It now can also be accessed from the My Info link button at the top of the page.
Doesn't it just show up automatically on your home page? For me, it appears even above the threads I'm watching, so I'm sure to see it.
Yes it does.....I posted this just in case people weren't looking at their home page. I used to keep my computer just on the forums tab page.
Ahh....got it. I always go back to the home page, just to what's updated - it's so easy now that we can just click on the DG logo. Always learning... :-)
