Hello from Julierock, Iowa!

My sis in law wandasflowers is making me do this. Help! I love Tall Bearded iris and anything that grows in sandy soil.

Hi Julie! Welcome to DG! You couldn't have a better SIL than Wanda. You'll make so many friends here that you won't believe it. Like Shirley said, just jump on in. The waters fine! lol

Rutland , MA(Zone 5b)

a great big welcome from upstate new york. have a ball here.

Hello and welcome to you too! I love tall bearded iris also. Particularly rebloomers. I have a couple hundred Immortals and a few hundred of this and a few hundred of that and well you get the idea. I am a bad girl and I exercise no restraint when it comes to bearded iris! I think out of all the iris, Dover Beach is by far my favorite but I suppose I could easily list quite few more. I think you will love it here! So glad you were made to join.

Johnston, IA(Zone 5a)

Welcome to the Garden Julie, you'll find many fun friends here and a world of knowledgable gardeners. We love Iris and daylilies and lilies too! As big hearted and generous as your Sister-in-Law is, I'll bet your garden is a showplace too. Welcome again from another Iowan,
Iowaron

I've got to get after Julierock. She's a great gardener but has the handicap of being married to one of my brothers!

I'll try to get her to talk to y'all. She'll probably just "lurk" at first.... She's new to computers. Has 4 grown kids, lots of grandchildren and loves Iris. I just took a bouquet of re-bloomers over to her yesterday. I'm going to try to drag her to a Riund Up WITHOUT my brother....

Oostburg, WI(Zone 5b)

Welcome Julierock. Had the pleasure of meeting Wanda too. Glad to have you join us! Hope to meet you at the next IA Roundup.

Moab, UT(Zone 6b)

Welcome Julierock, This is my first experience with the web/net - joined in April and now wouldn't miss a day of checking what's blooming where and who's in the path of the latest hurricane and who will be the one to identify that weird purple flower.

Wanda will help get you started and we'll all pull you right into Dave's Garden.. Bring coffee and snacks, it could be a long trip.

OC, CA & Twin Lakes , IA(Zone 4b)

Welcome, Julie

When the snow flies and you can't be in your garden you will find great comfort in coming to this garden..

It got pretty cold here last night so the day here will be spent lifting more plants.
