Wanted: Iochroma

Seattle, WA(Zone 8b)

Anyone have any Iochroma cuttings for trade or postage? I would dearly love a purple, blue, and red......in that order :-)

Well shoot, at their price I could just buy my three colors and be happy. All three for $15.00 sounds like a very good deal to me.
Thanks for the link :-)

RikerBear: I bought my Iochroma from Kartuz and wasn't really satisfied. The plants were weak and spindly. Check the rating for Kartuz on the "Garden Watchdog".

I am trying to root some cuttings (blue flowers): if I'm successful, I'll mail you one. Please check back with me in about 3 weeks -- I'll know by then if any of the cuttings took.

I've bought from Kartuz several times and have been happy. It takes a while to receive orders (mine was about 6 weeks), but knowing that going in, it was no issue. I was happy with the iochromas and passifloras I ordered.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Maybe it depends on what you order, but I've always been happy with orders from Kartuz. Like Carter said, it takes about six weeks to get the order, but they tell us that up front.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

I've never had a problem with the plants I bought from Karutz but like Carter and Brugie says, it takes awhile to receive the plants

Seattle, WA(Zone 8b)

Well as I am in no hurry, that shouldn't be a problem.
Thanks for all the input everyone :-)

Mesilla Park, NM

I just received that special today (3 for 15.00) they were all healthy. The order took about two weeks. They are out of alot of their vines though. In this order I had some other vines and they were also very healthy.

Edited to say: these are the three they sent: Indigo, Plum, and Fushiaroides in 2 1/2 inch pots well rooted.

Yeah! Thanks for posting Gourd. Gonna place my order next week if I don't have any success finding starts here....which isn't looking to good right now :-)
$15.00 seems like such a good price to me..........................

I dont' know how long they take to grow, but can probably do cuttings of mine in spring if you don't find any. That should give them some time to grow. A.

Oh, what a generous offer......I'll just order mine from Karutz. If for some reason they are out of any of the colors I want I may take you up on your kind offer later in the year.
Thanks again :-)
