Look who came visiting this afternoon. I think he is a Gulf Frittilary. He seemed to be looking for blue flowers, spending time on the Mexican Petunia as well as the Buddlea.
Just for once I had my camera handy too!!

Wow! Very, very nice shots. I've had three monarchs come through the past few days. Almost got a shot a little while ago. Almost. :-(

Thanks for the kind words. I was really lucky to get those shots. I swear they see the camera coming and run, then when I haven't got it they come back and pose!!!
