Bad Trader?

Plano, TX(Zone 8a)

How long is normal for someone to return a trade? Especially without communication? I don't believe this person is intentionally ignoring me but I sent my end of the deal on August 30th and haven't received his trade yet. I have emailed a couple of times but haven't received a response. I do not want to give him negative feedback at this time because I know there can be circumstances beyond one's control (and it is only a plant). Just curious if others having the same issue can shed some light. Thanks.

Taking this long without an explanation does not bode well. Have you checked the feedback from your trader for positives/negatives? Take in consideration that life does happen, and sometimes it just can't be helped that a person can't keep their trade or communicate. Florida, for instance, is getting their fourth hurricane in a row.

I have checked feedback and there is none which I see as a good sign. Also, you are probably right about the hurricane, he is in MS. Thanks for the comment.

You might also check and see if he's started any new threads or added other posts. If not, he might just be out of touch completely for any number of reasons. Time does have a habit of slipping away.

Trunnels I am on the Gulf Coast in MS and Ivan got me . My yard and plants got trashed but we had power back by friday. There is no excuse for the person not to respond. If his plants got trashed he needs to say so. No one that I have heard of had homes severly damaged here. I would do as Sequee suggest and see if he has made any recent post

It is "possible" that he/she doesn't have power, believe it or not. One of the customers at the store where I work came in and said he didn't have power yet from hurricane Ivan, this was Thursday. So it is "possible", but 95 percent of people have power now.

Thanks for all your comments. There have been no new posts which makes me think he is just out of touch. I would rather give him the benefit of the doubt and wait a little longer. Thanks, again.
