HHG???

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

This is my Herrenhauser Gartens that I purchsed from a reputable seller. It's only had white blooms, some single, some double. Is it our 48-55 degree nights or is this maybe not Herrenhauser Gartens? Sorry for the poor picture quality.

I have no clue, sadly I am not a member of the HG club. I would say it is not but again I know nothing. Did you email the seller and see if they recognize it as another one of theirs? Labels do get mixed up.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Kell, no, but I was hoping she'd come along and see it but I could send her an e-mail. It has only had four blooms this year and all were white. I was hoping it was cooler temps but you never know. It'll probably get trashed when deciding time comes. LOL

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

It looks like a real white. I can't say it looks like Cream sickle to me either and that one stays white for a lot of people. I do not remember people complaining that HG would be so white before turning orange or even never turning orange.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Kell, It's definately not my Creamsickle. The blooms are smaller on the HHG? but the blooms are shaped pretty, I think. LOL

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I think there has been a mix up. When my HHG bloomed last year, it was after the first frost and it was still peachy color. Not as dark as it should have been, but it had color. If it is HHG, HG for short, the inside skirts should drop down. My one and only bloom should open tomorrow. It is supposed to be a triple, I think.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

LOL Well, I guess first thing in the morning, I'll scratch thru that tag. Now to go ask for a refund. LOL

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

If you need another one let me know. Mine is going to the compost pile this fall. I'll be happy to pass the little bugger along.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Me too. In fact, I think I have three of them. I think I have something else I'm supposed to send you, so I could stick both in the box. I'll email you.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Thanks.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I was going to toss all of mine but then I sprayed them with Messenger a couple of times. It had dropped 2 buds. Now I will see if Messenger can make it hold its buds. A test! LOL

Good luck, Kell.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Stalk does not look corky enough for HG,I would say Species with all the different blooms on it.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Ada, it is definitely not HHG.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Thanks Monika and Root.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Looks like it might be Candida double white.

Thanks, Susie.

Marshfield, MO(Zone 6a)

I would doubt it, too. This is what mine looked like when it first opened.

Ada I have HHG, not going to keep it, want cuttings? I would say I would send you the whole thing but it is in a 15 gallon pot, this was the bloom or die year! It didn't bloom so it will die!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Well, Mary, at least yours bloomed for you. LOL So many says, it doesn't bloom for them.

Tracey, thanks but it probably wouldn't bloom for me either. LOL
