Abby has a caugh that won't go away. I took her to the vet and he said it's probably feline Asthma. He gave her a shot, and she improved for a while, then it came back. I took her back and he did a chest x-ray and said her lungs were clear, but there was some inflamation in the bronchial tubes-which is a symptom of asthma. He gave her another shot, and she was doing great, but in the last few days the cough has come back. She had the two other shots so close together that I'm afraid to take her back for another one. It's such a mystery, because theres on sign of infection, no fever, she still has a healthy appitite, she plays with the other cats...I'm at my wits end. I get so afraid when my cats are sick. She's a young cat, so I don't understand why she has these problems.
Please, say a prayer for her. I wish God would either heal her or find a way to show us what to do for her. I feel guilty, because I wonder if I've been working with the feral colony out back so much that I've neglected my own baby. I just want her to get well.
