Didn't quite know what to call this photo but it is what it is.
So, here's my horse manure fungi composition.
Horse Manure Fungi Composition
Awesome Fungi! It's all good!
hee hee ... wha, 'Doodleshrooms' .. of course !! !!
It's quite a variety, for sure ...
Looks like the kind of pics I'd take and post too!! .. For it's certainly interesting!!
LOL
Magpye;
Doublecheck your mail.
I started laughing when I saw that...looks like my piles....
The old lady who use to live next door use to sneak into my pasture and steal them all....I would giggle cause she thought they were something I wanted....I don't know enough about them to eat the wild ones......
She died a few years ago....the shrooms?
Sneaking onto your property to steal manure????????????
So sad but she did you a favor as far as I'm concerned. I don't understand why people just don't simply ask. I trade with chicken farmers. They've really got good poop and that duck poop is about as good as it gets.
So she passed on, huh? Could have been the shrooms but we'll never know. Gonna be one of those mysteries of the universe.
You should post a photo of what you've got growing in your pile. I don't want to corner the market on shrooms in poops!
I love mushroom, but I am afraid to pick wild mushroom. I don't know the differences between good and bad ones. Can someone help me?
Thanks,

Oh Rose, that's a tough one. We all like you so much better alive with your neural system in tack. That is really an identification that should be made in the field. There are so many look alikes. Even if you have a field guide it is tough. I sort of prefer to buy my shrooms from the grocery store other than morrels which I have been picking from the same location since I was a little girl.
Thanks Equilibrium. I think living is more exciting .lol
I guess I will keep buying from the market for my mushrooms.
Thanks again . Rose318

What a cool pic and I never thought I'd say that about a pile of poo but those are some pretty mushrooms growing there!
Thaks for the compliment cceamore! Hmm, nobody contacted me to ask if they could use it as desktop wallpaper for their computer monitor. Should I be offended? Tee he! Just kidding!
I've never seen so many different kinds growing so close together. Those black ones are positively shiverrry looking. delightful, did you spot any fairies or gnomes.
No, no faeries or gnomes but there were a considerable number of big black beetles scurrying about here there and everywhere. And then there were these tiny irridescent insects that seemed to be hanging out in the shadows of the shrooms. There were other insects that weren't nearly as interesting. The pile was literally crawling with life forms. I hadn't noticed what a hub of activity that pile was until I stooped down to photograph the shrooms.
*talking while holding breath* Dude. Those beetles ARE gnomes. And those tiny irridescent "insects"? Like, that wasn't Tinkerbelle? That is some seriously good sh--.
:)
Talking while holding breath... Come to think of it, the area was rather "ripe" smelling. Pretty funny. I never thought about what other people thought about me and the position I had to be in the get that photo. Yup, I was horizontal.
