Welcome jlrabbit from another Ontarian. You're going to love it here!

Edmonton, AB(Zone 3a)

Western welcome from Alberta. I feel like we're the fulcrum, Pam, with BC and Ontario playing teeter totter in the membership game. LOL

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

LOLOL.....I agree!! We should start dropping leaflets around to up the prairie contingent!

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 2b)

Thats OK. Ont & BC can cheer us up when we get another May snowfall.

Hello all: I was away for a few days and returned to some very nice welcome messages. Dave's Garden and the Canadian group are a great find. Thanks .

Welcome to our home, jlrabbit! Elaine

Glad to have you with us jl.

Welcome to DG and the Canadian Trading forum - sometimes there's even some trading going on here! :-) Have fun in DG; there's lots to check out.

Yes I sometimes think we should ask dave to change the name of our forum to Canadian Chatter or something like that.

I agree. If you notice how long some Canadians are coming to Dave's and posting in other forums, but have never been here, maybe it's because they think it's all about trading. Stimmins is one in particular I noticed. We don't want to miss out on anyone.

A couple of years ago I asked him to change it to Canada House. I guess he felt the current name is OK.

Ya well, he's not a Canadian, eh.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 2b)

Canadian Chatter & Trading sounds. Good eh. Who wantsto ask him. Maybe we ALL should!!! Maybe just Canaidan Forum. Lets have some other ideas here.

As a transplanted Canadian, I'd vote for Canadian Forum - unless you deny me a vote for living south of the 49th. lol and a big welcome to jlrabbit from St. Cath. I lived there one summer, back in the 70s between college years. Beautiful area!!!!!!!!!! Wish I had your zone! Laura

If you ever take notice of the address bar before you come into a thread, eh. This is how he put it.
davesgarden.com/forums/f/tradeeh/

Maybe he could just call it 'Canadian Eh!'

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

LOL, I never noticed that!

Hold your curser over the member map and see what comes up.

Oops, either that's not where I saw it or he's changed it.

I just saw it - that's a hoot! He's an honourary Canadian, then (as long as the "u" stays in honourary... :-)

Edmonton, AB(Zone 3a)

I'm ashamed to say Echoes that I have seen that bar lots of times and didn't get it. Tried to figure it out a couple of times how you could get trading out of that and then gave up DUH EH!!

At the map, there used to be little regional descriptions come up over areas/states when you held your curser over them, but that doesn't happen anymore. I can't see the total for subscribers there now either. Maybe with the new format? or my brain really is turning to fudge.

I noticed Dave's address bar for us, as soon as I joined some weeks ago. I took from that that he has a good sense of humor. I bet he would change the name if we ALL asked. The Canadian Forum sounds like an excellent name. When are we going for it?

The Canadian Forum....I'm in! But, would we then have to have a separate Trading forum? (I'm not a big trader yet, so not too sure how it works....)
