Passiflora propigation

Norwalk, CT(Zone 5b)

Hi, I am new to the site and new to "tropical" vines. I live in Zone 5-6 (depending on the winter). I have either a Byron Blue or Jeannette, not sure as I bought it late in the season and only got one bloom. It is a fairly expensive plant here, $35+ for a small 5-6" pot. Rather than buy a new one if I lose it, I would like to try to propigate it from a cutting. I don't think I'll get any fruit off of it. Can you offer any advice for propigating it this way? Thanks, Susie

This post will help and answer lots of your questions and mine too. it is a test on the rooting of passiflora vines.

Thanks so much! I got a bit confused with all of the discussion so I just e-mailed one of the originators to ask again.
