I have had this plant for nearly 2 years, finally this year after using the alfalfa "tea" and later using the "messenger" product, I have tons of buds, one which will open shortly, I am soo thrilled, this will be a first for me!!! It was given to me just marked PEACH, so anyday now I guess I will finally get to see one in person, and smell it!!! YEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAA

Laurrie -- that's wonderful! Congratulations and be sure to post pics of the open blooms!!! Gretchen
Congrats Laurrie. Can't wait to see the buds open up and wish someone was there to see your face when it happens. You are going to love your peach blooms. We will need more pictures as Gretchen has already said.
Congrats, Laurrie.
Happy Days are here again.....I can feel your excitement! How wonderful for you! I too would like to be there to see your face when they open! Please post photos of your brugs! It looks really healthy!!
Thanks everyone, words cannot describe my excitement this I know!!! I go out each day first thing and wander right over to it, it is over 2 inches out this morning, soooo hopefully in another few days, it looks yellowish right now, is this normal? AND bigger question LOL WHEN do they tend to open, morning, or toward evening? This way I can really be there to see it in person as it opens. I will keep posting photos, happily!!!!

YAY!!!!!!!! Your plant is beautiful Laurrie and so full of buds. It will definitely be a sight to behold when the buds open. I look forward to seeing additional photographs.
By the way, you're correct, I can't tell that you're hooked ;-) You're just acting normally, like the rest of us Brug fanatics on this forum. LOL
photo of 8-31-04 still no buds noticeable, but I did start pumping the alfalfa tea to it as well as an application of the "messenger" product from Eden Bioscience!! First application of Messenger was on 9-2 and second application on 9-10, I believe this helped "PEACH" along, because the growth spurt it took on went up 1 whole foot and then you see the pics from the 9-19 photo's it was just amazing!!

It won't be long now!! I know how you feel, this was my first year for Brugs, too! Just wait 'till you smell it!! Congratulations!
Bonnie
Congratulations to you. Please keep us informed about the progress of the bloom.
Congratulations Laurrie!
OK I missed a photo yesterday wasn't home till 8 (completely dark out then) sooooooooooo, I rushed over and it was open somewhat, not all the way, but ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the smell is divine!!!!!!!!! Now I can't wait for the other ones to open, there are like 18 buds on this plant and I will be stuck to it like glue I can tell you that!!
Here is a pic first thing this morning just about 7:30, I will try and take another before noon, then I will be gone all day till late evening. BUT right now it looks yellow, supposed to be peach, I will see if it is after it flushes :)
Yes, that is sometimes a problem, that it gets dark early this time of the year as many flowers tends to close or hang during the day and first starts to fess up a bit, when it is too dark to make good photos. It has been a joy to read the thread and share your excitement :D It is a beautiful flower and I see lots of buds there too :)

Pretty flower Laurie,
Keep the hope, it can still be Peach and don't be discouraged if it does not color well this time. Cooler temps can inhibit color development.
At least you are now set up for blooms earlier next year =)
Congratulations Ohio Breezy, great looking brug. I share your excitement. Hopefully later blooms will be darker. Donna
Well.........thanks all!!! I don't care what color it is, I think it's wonderful LOL the smell knocked me off my feet it was wonderful, words cannot describe!!! I will give it another few days, then I have got to dig and pot up! I hate to do it, but in my zone, it's got to get done and soon. I know this will probably cause some buds to drop or maybe all but now I finally did get to see and SMELL one so I am happy!!! I know too if you bring them inside, while the temps match somewhat to the outer temps it's used to - that the switch won't be quite to rough on them, so look out hubby, the corner with the rocking chair is now MINE. LOL
Will post more photos later if it decides to flush and actually be peachy
