I have two trades of upwards of 30 seeds each of Schlumbergera (Christmas cactus). I have a bunch of Christmas cactus babies under the lights in the basement, and I don't have room to plant these.
These trades are a cross of Thor Ritt x White Christmas made on my own plants. (Thor Ritt is a lipstick fuschia color and White Christmas is, of course, white.)
Looking for any unusual tropical seeds, gesneriads, or what do you have that's tempting?
As a last resort, I'll let these go for postage, but I'd rather trade them.
TIA!
Schlumbergera seeds for trade
Hi Tia, I am very interested in these seeds. I'm not sure what to offer but I have all kinds of seeds...LOL. Lets work out a trade. Most of my seeds are not common but I do have a few common seeds. I'll go see if you have a want list.
Thanks!
Kim
I don't have a want list really-- I kind of go with the flow. :-)
Post your Have list here or send it to me via Private Messenger, and I 'll take a look at it.
OMG!!! I would be here all day if I posted the seeds I have..LOL. Meet me half way by telling me some of the plant families you like. I especially love plants in the Ranunculaceae and Scrophulariaceae. I know I really need to get a list together. But the thought of it makes my brain hurt...LOL. I have seeds I picked today...seeds of:
Cryptotaenia Japonica 'Atropurpurea'
Geranium Pyrenaicum Alba
Ruellia "Katie" Pink
Emilia javanica
Coreopsis Rosea
Coreopsis Verticillata "Zagreb"
Red Yucca
Mystic Merlin (Malva Sylvestris)
12 seeds left of Phyteuma Scheuzeri
Talk soon
ROFL-- sorry! I didn't realize you were "hard core!"
How about houseplant or tropical seeds?
Hmmmmm let me seee...Do you want your seeds to be outside tropicals (just for summer growth) or indoor tropicals? Well I have 8 Fuchsia Swing seeds. I know it's not a lot but if you use good seed starting soil I'm sure you'll get 8 plants. They take about 21 days or more to germinate. Hmmmm lets see what else..Pandoreas?? Brugmansias?? Hellppp...LOL

How about indoor houseplants?
I thought the fuchsia swing was an indoor houseplant?

I have Wandering jew http://davesgarden.com/pdb/showimage/588/
and Philodendrons I use as houseplants. My jews all are Tradescantias. They have purple and green leaves. None have total green leaves. Maybe Browallias?? I will look and see about seeds for house plants. The others I would have to send rooted cutting. I get back to you on more houseplant seeds.
Have you ever grown Brugmansia from seeds? Very easy and rewarding. Mine have bloomed the first year from seed. I'm even experimenting with one outdoors. I have a friend who's temp gets 18 in winter and it comes back every year. Last year the temp never dropped past 20 here. So I'm mulching the heck out of it and putting it to the test! LOL LOL
Hi there,
I am interested in those seeds - very pretty.
You can look at my trade list and see if anything there interests you. I haven't put on the Amaranth yet, and not sure yet if my Ruby Star Echinecea is on there, but have those as well, oh and Red Canna seeds too. There are many more listed on my trade list. If you are interested, just email me.
Karrie
