I created this small acid bog using a kiddie pool. I purchased cultured "L" shaped stone to edge it. The edge does look nice but deer are actually walking right through it and knocking over the edges that are sort of balanced precariously until I fill in around the perimeter. I have heard of this product called Great Stff. What is it? Where do you get it? How do you use it? And would it work in this situation to secure my edge?
Here's a photo of the edge-

Hi E!
Great stuff is styrofoam in a can. It has a platic tube like WD 40 and you just aim and shoot! Get it at home depot or the like, it will fill in the gaps between your kiddie pool and the ground around. Should do what you want and costs about $5 a can (you'll probably need a few)

This is an older photo. I added sand around the edge to fill it in over a week ago. I like your styrofoam in a can idea better as I had to ram the sand down in and around the sides by hand and everytime I pulled my hand out it seemed as if hunks of my flesh were being peeled off thanks to that under lip on that lousy kiddie pool. I felt like a lemon getting peeled with one of those fancy gourmet slicers. Remind me to dig a few extra inches around a kiddie poole the next time I decide to sink one in the ground.
And guess what! The sand is not stopping the deer from traipsing through and knocking my edge material out of place. Guess I will have to peel layers of my skin off again and remove the sand buy those nice little cans of Great Stuff. So BogMan... where were you a few weeks ago BEFORE I rammed all the sand around the edge? Just teasing with you.
