Maggie my beagle mix is always jumping on me. It can be painful when she rams into me full speed and crashes into my stomach. She has knocked the wind out of me a few times.
I have tried turning, pushing her away (she keeps coming back for more) she could do this all day. I have tried stepping on her rear toes, but she is a real tough dog and it does not phase her. I do not want to be mean to her, but she is getting a little dangerous with this habit.
She has always been a dog who likes to walk on her back feet to explore the table, counter, sink etc. I think she spends more time on her back legs than on all fours.
It is getting hard to go outdoors with her habit since she loves to run full speed at me. I think she thinks I am one of the dogs. LOL
