This is Passiflora edulis "Black Knight ". The fruit you see is the size of an orange, not a small one , medium to big. Nancy Garrison puts out golf ball size, these guys are huge.

Wait I don;t have this , yet. This is from Valley Hills Nursery in Carmel. I have run out of space for another passi, but I may move my Coral Seas because the sun kills it. After seeing this guy I am a thinking. Here's what the flower and leaves looks like.

Well, it may be a better choice for your sun spot. Mine just sat and sulked until the heat of mid summer. Then it took off and grew several feet a week. It didn't even wilt in 100 degree weather, and I don't water it much...too hot over there where I have it...I would wilt! lol...
