I have a greenhouse book here that says tomatoes can be transplanted into an unheated greenhouse in Feb.
Problem is : it doesnt say for which zone. The book was publish in Colorado. Do you think the book and information was based on that zone?
And I am assuming that the greenhouse should be small hobby size--since the smaller it is the more heat there will be.
I am in zone 7-----alabama
When do you grow tomatoes in an unheated greenhouse or hoophouse?

I don't know but someone in the tomato form might. Good luck.

It's location, location, location. Colorado has many zones. half is Kansas type rolling plains and half is Rocky Mountains. I can't think of anywhere in that state where I'd trust tomatoes in that situation in February.
thank you blooms and susan
