Citrus Heights, CA(Zone 9b)

Passiflora. I have the same plant at home and when I drove by I said to myself hmmmm that looks familar, but much bigger!

Stockton, CA(Zone 9a)

The Tibouchina is sooooo pretty! I drool whenever I see them in the nurseries but I stop myself from giving in because I know it will freeze here. :~(
I think your right about everything growing there! They have the best nurseries too. Wonderful find Rich.

Donna-
Are you sure they won't come back from the roots for you? It did for me last year, and I'm a zone North of you...
Maybe you should try one in the Spring?

Stockton, CA(Zone 9a)

Such Temptation! LOL
The ones that are available around here are very expensive & I don't think I want to risk it again, especially since my SIL bought one too & really sheltered it and still lost it.

Auburn Hills, MI(Zone 6a)

wow I love that !! how cool !! give some privacy and looks great to

Gordonville, TX(Zone 7b)

Three plants?

Citrus Heights, CA(Zone 9b)

The old man said we got three plants, I like the purple ones but these turned out ok. I guess!

Gordonville, TX(Zone 7b)

He gave you three plants or the wall is covered by three plants?

Citrus Heights, CA(Zone 9b)

That's what they started it with just three plants.

Gordonville, TX(Zone 7b)

Ok. Passifloras don't mind that cool climate?

Citrus Heights, CA(Zone 9b)

It never gets below upper 30's and never over upper 80's, usually not more than upper 70's. Perfect weather for full sun . It never gets hot enough to grow tomatoes. The humidity insures that the air won't dry the leaves out. It was growing half way up the tree.

I've been assuming that they all required warm weather but, that is obviously not true if these are happy near Santa Cruz.
