Some of you were following the thread I started in the Parking Lot forum. This is the kitten that was dumped on us in early August. She has grown quite a bit, but is probably still undersized.
About 4 days after taking her in, she coughed up something, that has since been determined to have been a nasal polyp. About three weeks ago she coughed up a smaller one and seemed to be doing great. She had been on antibiotics for ear infection and things seemed to be quite a bit better. All that has changed. The ears are seeping a sticky fluid again. The vet suggested when I took her in back in the middle of August that the nasal polyp was pressing on the eustachian tubes and causing the inflammation in her ears. Has anyone had experience with cats with nasal polyps? I'm not too happy with my options.
