Hi,everyone!
I have a big 2-3 yrs old "JOHNSONS BLUE" geranium plus several blue geranium seedlings that are well established. I have double appleblossom & creme de cassis hollyhocks growing in pots that are well started and will bloom next year. I have "JOAN ELLIOT" clustered bellflower, nice potted plants.
I can ship this stuff in pots or out of pots--of course I can't afford to ship many to a box if potted, they tend to be heavy. I also have extra of the following:
Purple Obedient plant
Wormwood "Silver King"
Sweet Cecily
Oregano
Lemon Balm
Bee Blossom
Hardy Blue Cornflower
Purple bearded iris
Yellow bearded iris
Drawf Goat's Beard (one special trade)
Sedum (Autumn Joy)
Cat Be Gone Coleus
Small rooted cuttings of Bi-color butterfly bush
Some named daylilies, please ask if interested.
I am looking for hardy perennials that bloom most of the summer and keep their shape. (For example:Goldsturm Susan--which I already have, but you get my drift)I have too many cottage types and am trying to redesign my flower beds for a fuller look , so a few of each plant would be great! I am especially interested in new named varities of old favorites.
Didn't mean to write a book! Thank you.
Hollyhocks, more to trade
Hi! I would be interested in a butterfly bush, Johnson's blue and whichever Hollyhock that is in the picture!! Gorgeous!!!
I have Echinacea Purpera, and Echinacea 'White Swan' I could divide that would fit the bill. I also have some seedlings of Hollyhock 'The Watchman' (it's black.)
I have the other cottage garden perennials - Coreposis 'Cutting Gold', Shasta Daisy 'Polaris', and regular old Rudbeckia - but they don't really keep their shape! You are welcome to some though! I also have many varieties of grasses if you are looking for some filler! My fav so far is Miscanthus 'Sara bande.' which doesn't get quite as big. Check out my journal and trade list - I have pics of several things! Let me know! I also have seeds of Rudbeckia 'Indian Summer' which I grow as an annual but it is SO easy to start and absolutely my favorite plant of all time (keeps it's shape too.) I have several pics of it--check threads I have started Let me know!

Hey, Aleta!
I know you'll get tons of responses to your offer. If you decide you wanna ship to Colorado again, I'll look to see what would be a fair trade for the hollyhock, Johnson's Blue..and maybe the bee blossom:) (What is bee blossom?)
You already have Jupiter's Beard (that is the longest bloomer I have, here). You've got all of my sedums...though I just bought a new one called Vera Jameson I could share in the spring;) I have a Bressingham astilbe? How about asiatic lilies (don't know colors, though)? Have a "Petite Indigo" butterfly bush I want to get out of the backyard.
Since you're one of my favorite traders, I just had to respond. Put me on the back burner, though--we could trade in the spring if all of your plants get spoken for;)
Hi to the family!
me/Diane
Dumb question...Does Cat be Gone actually keeps cats away, or is it just a name?
Hi, Diane, thanks so much for writing--I'll keep all this in mind and we're surely do a trade in the spring when I hope to have a bunch of new stuff to offer.
YES--it keeps cats away. It was recently developed in England for the purpose of keeping cats out of flowerbeds and it smells SO bad (just ask Diane, she knows!). So far my cats haven't gone near it.
Aleta
Aleta,
I'd be interested in the bi-color butterfly bush, let me know if you still have some available. If so I'll send you my trade list.
Thanks
Lena
