One of Susies

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

This one is showing some traits I like,it came as a wet seedling experiment.
I figured it needed its own thread.

Beautiful blooms, but those leaves are huge.

It's gorgeous! I agree, the leaves are huge and that adds to the beauty. Do you mind aanswering a few questions about it - - What is a wet seedling? What cross is this one from? What traits do you admire in this seedling & why?

Thanks, Eileen

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Could be juvenile leaves. I just love it Root and I bet it matures to be one of the better ones!!

Wet seedling started here.

And so far,it colored up the first night, multiple blooms of a seedling, the scent is good from the first night on,good dark color, and it took my abuse, this one was not pampered.
Edit to say, everyone that came into the yard thought it was an EE because of the leaves, that is a plus.

Tendrils, did I mention them? here they are the first night.

People always say,How can you get rid of a nice one like that? well I have to for room.and I need room for coming attractions.

Every now and then you get one that looks like this.

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Very nice Rooty! I'm loving all your beauties! I do have a question though! I understand that you need room for coming attractions, but tell me what made you decide that you'd get rid of it? It looks very healthy and doesn't look like it has bug problems. I'm just curious how you all decide what to keep and what to get rid of!

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

There are many lookalike seedlings out there,I have 3 that look so close you can not tell them apart,it has to be a step up in the Brug line to get named, should have traits that are better then the parents.

Whitewater, WI

Beautiful, Root and Susie Just beautiful!!!

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)
