My this year cuttings of Ollie and White suavelons are blooming. To my newbie eyes they look very similar and dont smell good either :(
Those of you who do not live in a warm zone or have a greenhouse, how do you decide which ones to keep. I like fragrance !

I'm a little disappointed.
Charlotte, if they don't make me happy, I get rid of them. It's pretty easy when there are so many out there now. There are lots of great smelling brugs out there and I'm sure many would make you very happy.
I like the smelly ones too, but up here I'm happy with any brug that will bloom for me, so I keep them all.
I will be tossing lots soon. I am just going to go thru and be ruthless.
KELL HOW COULD YOU *LOL* here I am struggling to keep EVERYTHING I never have the heart to throw any away, and when I see a seedling struggling to hold on I do all I can to keep it going.
Kyle, does all versi have fuzzy leaves, and fuzzy pointed pods usually pointing straight up at first? I have one that isn't named that is fuzzy as I described. Maybe you all can help me here. Oh and the dang worms are loving it too btw Grrrrrrrrrrrr...hasn't bloomed yet.

OK, what are the best smelling ones?
There are so many, but Butterfly is wonderful as is the VO that Eclipse mentioned. Pink Beauty, Dr. Suess, Charles Grimaldi, to name a few are very nice smelling. Susanne smells wonderful too. There are just a lot of them that are awesome to sit by in the evening. Oh, can't forget Creamsickle and Golden Lady. Great smellers. LOL!
Dr. Suess was my favorite for fragrance, but I lost it last winter. The only one I have blooming so far is Dr. D, and I don't notice much of a fragrance, but DH says he can smell it.
Arborea has to be the best one for fragrance. I could smell that one all day!
